Nicolien Buholzer is a senior studying journalism and the Managing Editor of The Post. She spends entirely too much time watching TV. Some of her favorite shows include Community, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Party Down, Portlandia, Modern Family, Flight of the Conchords, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, and Bored to Death. She does not like Mad Men. Where she finds time to watch these shows is a mystery to everyone, including herself. She also likes cats. A lot. Want to chat TV? Meryl Gottlieb is a sophomore studying journalism and hopes to one day critique TV and movies for a living at Entertainment Weekly, though she understands that means living in a box on the street. She has an insanely enormous passion for the media and knows way too much about things no one will ever care about. Favorite TV shows include Doctor WhoSherlockHow I Met Your Mother, Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Moonlighting (it’s from the ‘80s and it’s awesome, despite what Regina George would say about anything from the ‘80s), Political Animals (come back!!), I Love Lucy, Once Upon a Time, The Big Bang Theory and Game of Thrones (she is also a major nerd), Friends, American Horror Story, Happy Endings… that list could continue forever. She’s also a huge movie buff, anything from the black-and-white movies of yesteryear to the amazing Harry Potter adaptations of today. No one will ever understand how she juggles these passions and still manages to do well in school, but if you find out, please let her know; she’d really appreciate it. Looking for someone to discuss the latest plot arcs in your favorite shows? Hit her up at mg986611@ohiou.edu or on Twitter @buzzlightmeryl.
